[NEWBIE] Trying to make text switch content [SOLVED]

Steve, Bob, Adam,
    Thank you guys so much for helping make this happen! The menus are 
working perfectly!
     I basically went with the "purist" syntax Steve suggested. I figure 
I'll be saving so much on bandwidth by not using gifs, I can afford to 
spell things out nice and clear. Especially since I tend to forget what 
I've done before and I'll have to read it again later.
    The current snazzy menu is here:

    Now I just have to do a little clean up on the presentation, to get 
the text to right justify and center relative to the green line and that 
sort of thing.

    But the hard part is over. You guys made the learning process so 
much easier for me, and I really appreciate that. Thanks.
