About centering a page...

One piece that is left out of this article is that you need to add a 
min-width to the body equal to the width of the container you are 
centering.  This prevents Gecko browsers from sliding the container off 
the left side of the screen without a scrollbar as the window is 
narrowed past the width of the container.
