I think that you can only use one @import at a time, which must be the 
first declaration in a <style> block. If you want the above, I think 
you'll need to use ...

<style type="text/css">@import url("/css/global.css") all;</style>
<style type="text/css">@import url("/css/display.css") screen, tv, 
<style type="text/css">@import url("/css/screen.css") screen;</style>
