you can keep the <a> from running the full length of the screen by setting
the width property to a value.

Subject: [css-d] line breaks

In the design I'm working on at the moment, i want a items
in my menu to break onto new lines, with space between
them. the space I manage with line-height, and to make
links automatically break I made them block elements.
Unfortunately, my way of indicating visited links is to
give them a bottom border (so there's two lines
underneath). Is there some other way to make it
automatically break on a's? Turning links to block makes
the border display across the whole menu, which is
distinctly undesirable. And I won't use brs because I want
the links to be next to each other if there is no css.
