If the cursor type were set to pointer in the same style block, users who look at the page with CSS turned on might not notice that they were links, but all other users would. This issue of pages linking to themselves is a thorny one, since many web developers aren't bothered by it, and they don't understand why others should be. But a fair number of people (many of whom are otherwise intelligent and web-savvy) are confused by it, and I think it is worth avoiding. -- Curtis Clark http://www.csupomona.edu/~jcclark/ Web Coordinator, Cal Poly Pomona +1 909 979 6371 Professor, Biological Sciences +1 909 869 4062 ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL-REMOVED]] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
