I wish compliant matched IE on a simple float

Well, you're right on the last part...
Simulating IE/win in standard compliant browsers is about as intuitive
and easy as the entire IE/win engine... :-)

I've made changes to code and styles, but kept content in the original
order. Tested in Opera 7.54, Firefox and IE6, so you can take it from
there...
.... and please don't tell IE6 that it isn't allowed to drop floats at
all. The poor thing may become confused.
