I don't see a black border in FF 0.9.3 on WinXP.  I do see gray spacing 
around all the thumbnails.

Looks fine.

One weird thing about your markup though -- you have a HTML 3.2 doctype, 
but an xml name space attribute in your opening html tag.  I'd get rid 
of that attribute, add a character encoding, and switch to a complete 
HTML 4.01 doctype so that you render in standards mode.
