I tend to agree, but it does depend a bit on what
you are trying to do. Once the background image
method is working it's pretty straight-forward.
Your code is a bit more involved than what I have
been using; I haven't tried to modify link hover
behavior. I see just one thing different from
my code and that is that I usually set the list-
style-type to none and get rid of it altogether
and I usually do that in CSS for the ul. My code
is intended for an intranet situation where IE6
is a given and have had no problems.
You might check out the various responses Theresa
Mesa got to see what all has been suggested for
her problem with bullet placement.
