Adding an appropriate url puts Opera into standards mode which improves the look quite a bit. See <http://www.opera.com/docs/specs/doctype/>. That resulted in the list bullets going outside the sidebar. Adding #sidebar ul { margin-left:35%;} seemed to fix that, but I must admit to being confused about the 65% left margin on the sidebar. After looking at the extents of the sidebar in the Firefox DOM Inspector, something just doesn't look right in the design. I'm not sure though. See how it goes. I might have another look later.
