Safari (including 1.0) doesn't have a problem with using images for
bullets via list-style or list-style-image, or any other method. At least
I don't think so, and it's always worked fine for me. My guess is the
problem was caused by something else, perhaps incorrect CSS. If you want
to put it back up there, I'll take a look again and debug.

I'm also using Safari 1.0.3 (build 85.8). It's not breaking to a second
line in my browser. I looked a day or two ago as well (when you posted
before) using Safari and I didn't see the problem then either. I have no
explanation as to *why* the rendering is different in our Safari 1.0.3
browsers, but that seems to be the case.

I see it, and tried to figure out why. Like you, I'm stumped.

That footer (at very bottom) is centered in my Safari 1.0.3 (looks the
same as in Firefox). Go figure.
