Many thanks. Adding {position:relative;} to the .leftmenu selector made the
links work in IE6. But it also created two new problems. Now the background
images I'm using for the .leftmenu list flicker on and off (except on the
first list item, where the little image never appears at all). Also, the
{ position:relative } seems to block my z-index values from working.
Take a look again at http://www.joneslibrary.org/leftmenu.html to see what I
mean.
