positioning a div next to a float in IE6

Sent by Bob Sawyer on 31 October 2004 14:02

Greets, all... I'm having a wee problem with positioning a div next to
another floated div in IE6/Win ... the left-hand DIV is floated; the
right-hand DIV should be vertically in line next to the floated DIV.
However, it's positioning itself below the float. Horizontally, it's
in the right place.

See:

CSS is here:

IE5/Mac displays it properly, as do most other browsers that I've
tested on. Just an IE6 problem. I've tried reducing the width of the
non-floated div, as well as increasing the margin on the same div, to
no avail.

Any thoughts?

-Bob
