style.Display not working in Mozilla, correct in IE and almost correct in Opera

Three questions.  I can help with two.

1) The best way to search the archive is with Google.  I describe a 
technique for this in the CSS-WIKI.

2) I'm going to leave this for someone else as I'm not up to it at the 
moment.  Yet, it sounds to me that display:none should work as you want. 
Maybe there is some other subtle problem?

3) DOM related questions will find good answers on "The List."
