Hi,
I am new to the list, so please apologize if my
problem was answerede before. Is there ane SEARCH
function for the archive ? Going through all messages
manually does not make any sense !
Not to the problem. I need to "toggle" the rendering
of a table cell. This should be done simply by
toggeling the display property of the cell between
none and inline.
Works perfect in IE (6), Opera (7,23) got it ALMOST
right, it just draws left and right borders when
setting inline after none, but Mozilla screws it up
totally ! I use this technique heaviliy in my
application and with Mozilla users growing I dont want
to lock teh page for Mozilla. Is that a known bug ? Is
there an EASY workaround or should I just wait taht to
be fixed ?
The simple example page can be found at :
http://www.admcon.com/examples/inlinetest.htm
Clicking the buttons toggles between the modes of the
button value. If you click on inline, NONE displays
first correctly. Clicking again already renders wrong,
Mozilla ignores ONLY the top cellspacing. Clicking
again to hide via display none, Mozilla seems to use
"visibility:hidden", the cell disappears but the space
is still taken. No back to visible inline a NEW CELL
is created !
I would apprediate any comment on this ( for me its
obvous a bugm just want to make sure, I downloaded the
LATEST mozilla yesterday (1.7.3)).
Also since I am new I guess DOM is out of topic here.
I have another problem with Mozilla in this, what
would be the best list to post it ?
Thanks
Joe Robe
