Background image on drop down list

Sent by Dan H on 30 October 2004 01:01

Hi everyone,
I have a site using the drop down menus based upon "More Eric
Meyer....When viewed locally(Win XP Pro) in IE6, FF1.0 and Opera7.5x the
background image on the rollover shows up fine. I uploaded the site and
in IE the background images on the rollover not only do not work but I
get a page not found error when clicking on a link from the sub-menu. Any
attempts to go to any page in the site result in the same error. The
strange thing is, I get the same error in Opera and FF as well, if I
attempt to view the site in one of these browsers after this error in IE.
I then have to close all my browsers, reopen them and the same thing
happens again. If I simply use FF or Opera, I have no problems at all.
As soon as I use IE the problem starts.

However, I can view the site fine on my wife's computer(Win 98SE/IE6).

The HTML validates but the CSS does not. I am guessing this is because of
the use of "behavior" in the CSS to use the csshover.htc file.

NOTE: Not all of the links work and ignore the red text for visited and
hovered links as this will be changed.

There are some other issues as well, but I am working on those. Any
comments or suggestions would also be welcome.
