CSS Background problem

Sent by Tracy Shorrock on 29 October 2004 18:06

Hi,

I think what you'll find is happening is that the columns are taking
the length of whatever column has the longest content.

If you go to http://clients.stamats.com/irvine/comp/secondary2.htm
you'll see there is a larger white gap on the left and right columns
because the content in the middle column is the longest.

So, I'm not sure that is what you want to happen.

Sorry, I don't know how to fix the problem, but from reading some of
the previous answers the way to do it is using background images, but
hopefully someone else far more knowledgeable than me can point you in
the right direction.

Cheers,

Tracy
