Just after some feedback, to see if anythings breaking for Mac users I've been messing with this layout for a few days and have just gotten it to the point where I am "almost" happy with what I see in the latest versions of Opera, Firefox and Explorer but don't have access to a Mac. Any feedback about layout etc would also be greatly appreciated.
