please take a look at this:

rollover the li's and a's in the products menu on the right. ideally,
mousing over anything in an li or an a would change the bg to orange,
and it would extend to the right border of the box. ideally, mousing
over anything in the li would activate the link, but i dont know if you
can do that. the effect
in ie6, rolling over the li does nothing. rolling over the a changes the
color, but it doesnt extend to the right border (which i would like).
and on some of them, only rolling over ABOVE the a works. *sigh*
in opera and netscape 7.2, the effect is achieved the way i want, but
again, mousing over the li does not change the color of the link.
is there a way to make a link (an a tag) extend to the end, like a p or
div tag would? is there a way to make an li activate a link within it?
am i asking the wrong questions?
