A much better place to propose such selectors would be the mailing
list [EMAIL-REMOVED], which is concerned with the future direction
of CSS. Although you'll want to search the archives
(http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/) first, in order to
be able to see the many discussions of such ideas in the past and
what points were raised in the process.
