Sliding Doors in IE5

Sent by M Wilson on 30 September 2004 15:03

Hi,

Changing #nav a to width: auto; seems to fix the issue on my box, but
you still have some problems with the menu collapsing on itself (pushing
over to the left) in Netscape 6 and Opera 7.03. Using position:
relative, rather than float: left; in #nav a will fix this in both
browsers and works in everything else I could test-Firefox, NN 6 - 7.2,
Opera 6 - 7.53, and IE 5+. It does, however, causes just a wee bit of an
issue in IE 5.01--a little gap on the top right of each tab. It's not
falling apart now and you might be able to tweak the little gaps out by
repositioning the background-image. Good luck. :)

Best regards,
Mike Wilson
