I thought as much - but it does work - right?
Any ideas on what might be the correct way to do it?

By "work" I mean it displays how I would like to see it displayed.
If you check this page and look at the second entry down on the list you
will see what I am trying to accomplish.
I did not think something so simple would be this difficult to achieve. I
prefer No2 over No1 but will settle for number 1.

Two get back to what is "wrong" in my HTML - like using P tags inside of H
tags. If it works - why is it considered bad code?
I know there are larger issues with browser compatibility and challenged
users, but I am not convinced these are important issues for my little
pages done in my spare time, on a volunteer basis.

I only check my pages against IE 6 and Moz 5. That seems to be what the
vast majority of folks out there are using.
I know, that's no excuse for using invalid code, but...

Looking forward to some earth shaking solutions from you all!

Thanks to all,
-Mike
