This is very hard to diagnose without seeing an example. Can you post a
URL?
One clue did catch my attention, the one I didn't prune. Now, I'm not
very familiar with the Suckerfish technique, but I'm wondering if
instead of supplying a width if display:block would work to make the
entire area clickable in IE. Without code, it's only a guess.
