Please forgive this off topic question, though it's pertinent to my trying to follow the list
policies.
Can someone just point me to a place for answers as to how they use Outlook's Out of Office Reply
"feature" AND also exclude a list such as this one from getting the autoreplies? I know this list,
and many others, have policies against the autoresponders - and for good reason. But I'm being told
by my companies IS dept. that Outlook and our Exchange server can't even do such a simple thing as
exclude an address from the autoreply.
I've Googled several variations of this topic and can't find anything meaningful other than stuff
saying, "You should disable the autoreply feature from replying to lists." Duh, but how? Outlook
itself certainly doesn't lend any clues if it can be done.
If someone would be so kind as to reply off-list as to what you do in a case where you need to be
out of the office, I'd really appreciate it. I'm leaving in a couple hours for 2 days. Should I
just unsubscribe and re-subscribe?
Only those knowledgeable about Outlook need respond for obvious reasons.
Thanks,
