This could be a no-brainer question. If I format an unordered list to
set in a horizontal row with horizontal lines above and/or below,
(similar to http://stopdesign.com/), is it possible to restrict the
length of the lines (e.g. 800px) but allow the text in the list itself
(<li> tags) to exceed that length if the text is increased?
The effect I'm trying to accomplish is prevent the unordered list from
breaking into two lines if the increased size of the text exceeds a
certain length, but also use CSS to create the horizontal lines that
wouldn't change despite the text size change.
