It is. It's THEIR browser...not yours. They shouldn't have to change their
preferences to accomodate your site.

That doesn't mean you can't make fixed width sites, but just realize that
people will more likely scroll to see it than change their browser settings.

To fix your 'can't scroll to the left' problem, give your BODY a min-width
equal to the container div you have. Not sure if this is a bug in Mozilla,
but it's a common problem on a lot of fixed-width, centered sites. I think
it was Zoe that helped me figure out that odd problem a while back.
