sidebar = 100% height of main content

Sent by steve on 22 August 2004 02:02

Hi All,
Can anyone explain how to make the sidebar (navigation section) 100% of
the height of the main content (assuming the main content stretches
taller than the nav section) in a fixed-width centered layout?
A good example of this is
www.alistapart.com
A bad example of this is
http://members.rogers.com/greatbigbrain/unitedway/
(the page I'm trying to fix).
Unfortunately, it is NOT the 'height:100%' style used in both of our
(mine and ALAs) style sheets.
Thanks in advance
Steve
