Fellow CSSers, I posted this over the weekend (not the best time) and struck out, so, I apologize for the dupe posting. Even since then I tried all kinds of things, none successful. I persist because this is a real roadblock. This additional padding happens only in Win IE and only in the DIV "colorbar". I have placed a red border around the DIV so you can see the problem. The CSS is internal.
