Hello.
See: http://www.salemobserver.com/Templates/css-3col-layout.aspx
CSS: http://www.salemobserver.com/Templates/css-3col-layout.css
I've got a new problem with this page. There is a section above the ad
buttons in the right column that used to be listed through <P> tags. So,
because it's really a list, I decided to change it to a <UL> list.
I pretty much copied the formatting from the lists in the left navbars.
Really, the only thing that's different is that each <LI> has no
borders. Yet, both WinXP IE6 and Win FireFox 0.9 displays it weirdly.
1. In WinIE6, there appears to be a huge left margin to the <UL>.
2. In FF, there is no left margin to the <UL> (good), but it does have a
top margin! The <LI>s inside it are the now ones with the left margins.
Not only that, the list items actually extend over into the page's
right-hand margin! You can see this better when you hover over them.
I've spent the better part of today so far trying to figure this out!
What's going on?!
3. PS: The div around the search button in the left column seems to have
a similar problem in Win IE6, where the width doesn't extend all the way
to the right (notice the bottom-border).
Thanks for any help.
