I would like to display a message and a link to all browsers that don't
handle CSS at least as well as IE 5, which handles my site fine.
I am going to do a trial offering of an optional table based layout and see
if there is enough usage to warrant the continuation of it.
I have my home page set up now with a message and a link inside a div with
{display: none} which will show up in Nav4 and take the viewer to a
table-based layout.
The only problem is that IE 4 renders the page well enough that the message
won't show up yet it still looks horrible. And I would like whatever other
old browsers are in use to be directed to the table-based layout also.
What would be the best way to accomplish this?
Thanks,
Matt
