Several people responded, but of all the links provided the one that seems
to come closest to what I'm looking for is it
http://webhost.bridgew.edu/etribou/layouts/skidoo/demos/two_right_left.html.
Unfortunately, that example includes about 10 or 12 other style sheets. I'm
not looking for that layer of complexity, I'm hoping to simplify.
So, to better show what I'm looking for, I've updated the page
http://www.maybeithinktoomuch.com/tables.php to include some text, showing
that when I add content I'd like the sidebar to equally grow.
