Got a page with a "Print this Page" button using javascript to open up
the print box. I have a separate "media:print" css file that sets up the
page using "display:none" to hide the various elements that don't need
to print out.
When I hit "Print Preview" from the browser "File" menu, the page looks
EXACTLY like I want it to in the preview window. I figure I did my job
right.
However, I'm working from a remote location and don't have a printer
with me, so when the client prints the page on his end (Recent Netscape
and I.E.) the page, the hidden elements are printing out anyway, despite
the fact that HIS "Print Preview" looks correct as well.
Uhhh...I'm totally confused. Why would something print differently than
"print preview" shows it?
Any known issues I need to be aware of here? I certainly must be missing
something or there's yet more browser bugs/issues I've got to find
work-arounds for...
Thanks,
Les
