opacity problem

Sent by Marty Martin on 7 July 2004 20:08

I have applied a 50% transparency using stylesheets to a table column as so:

<td valign="top" style="background: url(#request.images#/featured.gif)
no-repeat left bottom; filter:alpha(opacity=50);-moz-opacity:0.5;" nowrap>

<div style="filter:alpha(opacity=100);-moz-opacity:1.0;">
Roanoke, VA <br>
<b>$85,000.00 USD</b>
</div>
</td>

The problem is, it is also applying transparent to my text which I don't
want it to do. Originally I had the text in a <p> but I tried a <div>
as shown above and tried to make the div not transparent, but am having
no luck.  Any suggestions?

Basically, I don't want the text to be transparent at all...
