Well... um, yeah. It could probably use a face-lift; nip-and-tuck here
and there; maybe a little re-organization of the data. But if your
client is strongly attached to his/her design, sometimes there's not
much you can do. Perhaps you could do some quick mock-ups or show what
you think are better designed real estate web sites to persuade your
client to re-think the site's look and usability. And as you know,
there's some excellent documentation out there on why standards-based
designed makes good business sense. That might be a better approach --
to demonstrate how and why a redesign would be financially beneficial.
Design is so subjective but when presented with bottom-line
dollars/euros/etc., it's hard to argue with that.
