A color by any other name....

Sent by tedd on 2 July 2004 18:06

Hi:

I just read that using the name of a color, such as "black", "white",
"red", "blue", or other such "standard" color names, instead of using
hexadecimal, may not translate to a color in some browsers. The
article said that it's "best" to use hexadecimal and not "standard"
color names for basic colors -- is that true?

If so, what browsers have that problem.

Thanks.

tedd
