weird spacing in Firefox

Sent by Jamie Keane on 2 July 2004 16:04

Hi there, CSS newbie here.

I'm working on a new blog layout, and for some weird reason, Firefox
puts a few pixels of padding underneath the "header" div. What's weird
is a) it doesn't show up in IE, and b) if I put a 1px border around the
"body" div, the background stripe goes away, replaced with the body's
assigned background-color.

(weirder still - IE screws up the alignment of the body by a pixel, but
I'll address that later if I can't figure it out on my own)

Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. Here's the url:

Thanks!
