Actually, webdesign-l *is* configured exactly that way.  No Reply-To 
message header is generated (ex: Reply-To: [EMAIL-REMOVED]), so 
the mail client falls back on it's default behavior of replying to the 
sender's address.

It is a little inconvenient, but I think it probably does cut down on 
the noise level somewhat.

To cut down on bother, I've put the posting address in my address book, 
and given it a nickname, so that Mozilla's autocomplete feature will 
fill in the full address.  I imagine most mail clients would have a 
similar feature.
