The following, as the only content in a file, is the requested 10px high
in Moz and Opera, but 20px high in IE 6.0 and IE 5.0:
<div style="background-color: #CCCCCC; height: 10px;"></div>
This was part of a much more complex file, which I reduced to the
problem (and made the CSS in-line). Any height 20px or greater is
rendered correctly; any height less than 20px is rendered as 20px.
Setting margin and padding explicitly to 0px has no effect. And it makes
no difference whether in quirks mode or not.
I'm assuming this is some well-known IE bug, but I haven't come up with
the right search terms to track it down. Thanks for any light you can
shed on this.
