Problem with logo link placement in Mozilla

'What reason is there to hide an image and then link it?
Do you want to create a Hover effect? Then give your link a coloured
background and the image on :hover.'

Hi there,

Well it is a trick I have used before where visibility is hidden for modern
browsers but gives the impression that the logo of the background image is
actually linked.

I don't really support v4 browsers but do like to show the logo of the
project. So when my site is viewed in a version 4 browser the previously
hidden image is now viewable.

It is something I read about and see used on the 'stopdesign' website.

I wonder if it is playing up because I am using a design uses background
images for design.

Any further suggestions?

Thanks a lot
Karl
