Don, I'm afraid you're right -- it is naive. Would that it worked that 
way, alas.

I'm sure if I REALLY understood CSS (i.e., I was one of the five or so 
humans on earth who do) I could explain why it doesn't, but then I 
wouldn't be asking here...

That's one of the several ways I tried to figure...
