I posted about this yesterday, but the subject heading and the original
question were both a bit different.
On <http://cimac.eharrishome.com/history.html>, I've got a setup with each
block of text being placed within two DIVs to create a drop shadow
effect. This looks fine in all of the browsers I've tested it on. A
problem seems to arise when I put a floating object (IMG or an IMG within a
DIV) inside that DIV. In Mozilla, it works fine. In IE6, though, the
picture seems to be drawn _behind_ its containing DIV. The text flows
around it appropriately, but instead of the picture, I see the background.
Zoe Gillenwater was kind enough to point me to some links that pointed out
flaws in IE's handling of floats, but none of the bugs explained at those
sites appear to be causing this issue.
Does anyone know what is causing this problem and how I can fix it? I want
the picture to be inside the drop-shadow area, and I want the text to flow
around the picture.
