Interesting point and point well taken.
While not strictly a css topic, but something to consider -- how many
people who frequent this list are designing sites for other than the
majority of browsers? I would guess that the answer is very few. But
on your point, it's interesting to note that Macromedia has been
doing a big push via Flash to write code for PDA and cell phones --
so, you are correct, the interest is there.
However, having a better monitor doesn't stop anyone from viewing a
site -- look at Mac's they usually have better monitors than most and
they do not have accessibility issues. So, I don't think your point
is well taken with higher resolution monitors -- the problem is with
lower resolution.
I would be interested to see how many frequenters of this list are
deigning sites with PDA's and cell phone in mind -- any?
