Hi all I'm new to the list and a complete amateur, just learning css, so
don't laugh! I'm impressed with what I've seen others do with CSS
(csszengarden.com) I've created a page which moves my image in the content
area when I resize the browser so the browser window is smaller than the
page width. I would like the picture to stay and just clip the right edge.
This page was initially created by my daughter (13 years old) using dreamer
weaver web template (CSS based, no tables). I hate tables for layout. Well
then she goes to "hacking" the original content and bad things happen. I've
been able to get things back so the page look OK except for this browser
resizing thing.
The goofy page is here:
http://www.planetbif.net/index.html
The css is here
http://www.planetbif.net/emx_nav_left.css
I think you can probably tell the parts Macromedia inserted and the parts my
daughter put in.
As I say I'm an amateur but think css is the way to go. I have done
websites using tables and hate how unpredictable layout is with them. I
don't really care about cross browser compatibility since all of her friends
use IE6! This is why the scrollbar stuff is in there (IE extension).
Thanks, Garry Barton
