IE z-index problem

Sent by Brad Bice on 9 January 2004 20:08

I'm having a problem with my divs not appearing on top of another div.
Here's the page which will actually explain more than I can:

http://www.rntsupply.com

I have used Peter Nederlof's method for allowing :hover on arbitrary html
elements on IE. The last two nav buttons pop up under the sidebar div, which
is not good. If I add a z-index: 1 to the sidebar and z-index: 5 to the last
two drop downs, Mozilla displays them above the sidebar. No changes in
IE(win).

What the heck is wrong with me or IE? (or Mozilla?)
