Alpha Transparency Problem (IE AlphaImageLoaderFilter/CSS problem, I think)

Sent by Weston Cann on 14 December 2003 05:05

I thought I'd take a shot at using Microsoft's
proprietary CSS to supplment the lack of straight
support for PNG alpha transparency in IE. After a
couple of hours poking around today, this is what I've
come up with:

http://weston.canncentral.org/misc/AVNation/SplashPage.html

It displays well in Moz, of course, but... no luck in
IE. I think I've followed the directions for the
AlphaImageLoaderFilter (ones I found at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/author/filter/reference/filters/alphaimageloader.asp
), but apparently not? What am I missing?

Thanks,

    Weston
