My CSS on new site only works in Gecko based browsers

I'm redeveloping a web site and I think it should work in most browsers
pretty well since I don't think I'm doing anything extreme but some browsers
render the CSS horribly.

Works:
Gecko browsers
Safari
Omniweb 4.5

Don't work:
IE Mac/PC
iCab (but I don't care)

Even font size and color isn't done properly.  I don't know where I'm going
wrong.
