Just had a mail from Philippe offlist and realised my dumb mistake. So I
would like to apologise and issue a retraction of my statement above.
What I had actually tried was adding a min-width declaration to my
containing div not the body element as Philippe had suggested. As you
can guess that did not work. *However* Philippe's rules above *does* work.
