I just wanted to note that I had problems printing one of my table-based sites
from IE/Win, and I found that the problems disappeared after I removed the HTML
4.01 Transitional doctype. I thought it strange, but it is interesting to note
that this doctype has caused other problems for IE/Win users.

This causes IE to freeze:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
This does not:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
