Ah... now you've fallen into my trap! I've downloaded and
attempted to modify your 3 column design, and now I know you are on this
list! And that you seem like a nice guy who will possibly answer my
questions!
Before I go on, point well taken that a big problem is how
browsers implement CSS, not CSS itself. However, the end result that
it's a big confusing mess remains the same for the beginner.
Oh, and thank you Claire for responding. I know your page was
not intended to be something for newbies to emulate, it's just that it
was, and still is, laid out exactly as I wanted my pages laid out. It
was too good to resist trying!
Okay, well, here we go. After playing with your John's column
layout, it is nice and easy to modify. However, the footer does not
stick to the bottom of the page if there is not enough content in the
DIV boxes.
So does that mean that the choice is between "Footers that stick
to the bottom but outrageously complicated code", and "Footers that
don't stick to the bottom but easy to implement code"?
