IE margin issues...

Sent by Richard Aspden, GITK Services on 11 November 2003 18:06

No doubt this has been pulled up before, but it's driving me nutty.

With Mozilla, Opera et al, this renders perfectly, with the images
fitting together. Internet Explorer slaps a nice little margin around
them. Which makes it all look awful.

An example of it, just containing the images in question, is at
http://testbed.architecturalnetwork.net/test.html

The relevant CSS is at http://testbed.architecturalnetwork.net/main.css
- namely under the .titlepic references for the main decoration etc.

I remember reading something about the <?xml declaration at the top
throwing IE into quirks mode, but removing that didn't do any good
either. Any quick fixes? :(

Thanks a lot,
Richard.
