Specifying fonts: Pixel or percentage?

As a Mac user, I've had it with tiny unreadable text and I leave every 
site that has it. The message that sends is  "we know you're out there, 
but we don't give a rat's pajamas about Mac users".

Do some research on the types of people who own them and see if you want 
them as your customers. If you do, then it's worth fixing this problem. 
If you do, here's an option to consider. Specify font size in pixels. It 
renders not too large on Windows and not too small on Mac. In addition, 
your current type size rendered in IE is too small for millions and 
millions of sighted people with imperfect eyes to read. You're losing 
business here.
